I’m Jordan — 25 y/0, in long-term recovery, and here for you.
My recovery didn’t start with a single event, but a decision I had to keep making. It has been several years since I've been living in long-term recovery: abstinent from gambling, drugs, and alcohol. I rebuilt my life through honesty, resilience, and commitment, which remains the best decision of my life.

I used to think addiction had a certain ‘look.’ But seeing how easily kids (like I was), who had every opportunity and advantage with no obvious reason to struggle – can spiral and detour into addiction shaped my mission: make relatable, actionable support easy to identify, especially for teens and young adults who still have everything to gain in life.

I’m not just here to talk. I’m here because I’ve been there. Early recovery needs more than insight — it needs structure, action, and mentorship.

I found purpose in my past — and with coaching support, you can do the same.

Coaching Complements Therapy
In my own journey, what moved the needle wasn’t just therapy — it was having a mentor who spoke honestly, held me accountable, and helped me shift my habits in real time. That’s what I bring to my clients today: someone who shows up, tells the truth, and helps you move forward.

I can Help
Lived Experience. I’ve been in long-term recovery and an active member and leader in Gamblers Anonymous for over four years—including founding a virtual GA group for young adults that meets weekly.
Strong Academic & Clinical Foundation. Started in business school and Greek life at a large university before transferring to University of Maryland. B.A. in Psychology (UMD) and current MSW (Master of Social Work) candidate at NYU‑Silver School (Substance Use & Co‑Occurring Disorders Specialization).
Hands-On Training. Field placements at Hands on Health Associates, an outpatient agency for adults with addiction and mental health challenges. I am currently working at the Columbia University Gambling Disorder Clinic to keep my approach up-to-date and evidence-informed.
Holistic Approach. Certified Personal Trainer (NASM); fitness, sleep, and nutrition integrate into every plan.
Peer Credibility. My story was recently featured in a USA Today’s piece on Gen Z and online gambling. I have also made guest‑speaking and panel appearances at recovery conferences and schools.
All coaching is non-clinical, peer-based, and delivered virtually via Zoom.

Life Outside the Call
When I’m not coaching or clocking MSW hours, you’ll find me training for my next fitness challenge, mentoring teens in recovery, spending time with family and friends, or walking Coal, my rescue lab.

Long‑term, I plan to earn my LCSW and open treatment centers that blend lived experience with high‑quality therapeutic care.

Recovery gave me a blueprint — now I help others build theirs.
